Eminem and Kim Tie The Knot... Again
Eminem remarried Kim Mathers in Detroit's Meadow Brook Hall this weekend.
Em's spokesman, Dennis Dennehy, confirmed that the wedding took place Saturday evening (January 14). Reports say news helicopters hovered over the venue while paparazzi stood outside the hall when Em (born Marshall Bruce Mathers III) and his high school sweetheart arrived in a limousine.
"Family and close friends were in attendance, including members of D12, 50 Cent, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit," Dennehy told The Associated Press. Word is Proof of D12 (born Deshaun Holton) was Em's best man.
Guests were served lobster tails and filet mignon while DJ Lord Sear spun music for the event. Em and his bride are planning a honeymoon later this year.
After two years, the couple's first marriage ended in October 2001 in a legal battle that included a custody war over their daughter Hailey. The pair reconciled in late 2004. Slim then announced that they were back together in December 2005. Kim applied for the marriage license last week.
