Eminem Studio On eBay Selling Block
The Detroit studio where Eminem recorded his debut album, The Slim Shady LP, is scheduled to be sold on eBay this Wednesday.
Slim reportedly used the 700-square-foot facility in Ferndale, Detroit from 1997 to 1999; including recording sessions of The Slim Shady LP, which has sold well over 4 million copies in the U.S to date.
"The recording studio is still intact, but the equipment is not part of the sale," David Giltner, senior vice president of real estate Grubb & Ellis, which is listing the studio told the Detroit Free Press. "It's in great shape and was recently renovated."
Owned by producer A.J. Abdullah, the studio will be auctioned on eBay's Real Estate section for 30 days starting tomorrow. The minimum starts at $215,000.
