Interscope Records has announced that Eminem's new album, Encore, will be released earlier than planned due to 'rabid' demand.
Fueled by two hit singles including "Just Lose It" and the politically charged "Mosh," Eminem's new album, Encore, is on its way to an early release due to high demand. Fans of the Detroit emcee have already begun a frenzied search to access the album early via the internet, forcing the label to move the street date to November 12th.
"This is something we have been anticipating," remarked Steve Berman, head of sales and marketing at Interscope Geffen A&M. "We knew there would be a tremendous demand for this album. On our end, we were ready...we just had to press the button on the date."
Both the regular version of the album and the Collector's Edition, featuring special packaging and a free ringtone, will be available on the new date.
