Eminem revives 2Pac
Eminem has confirmed he will co-produce a new 2Pac album, due in November.
The as-yet-untitled release will comprise unreleased vocals by the slain rapper set to new beats created by a raft of top producers.
Eminem previously produced three new 2Pac songs for the soundtrack to the documentary "Tupac: Resurrection" : "One Day At A Time", "Ghost" and "Runnin' (Dying to Live)", which also featured a verse from Notorious B.I.G.
2Pac, born Lesane Parish Crooks and later rechristened Tupac Amaru Shakur, was shot in a drive-by attack in Las Vegas on September 7 1996, dying from his injuries six days later. No-one has yet been arrested for his murder.
The new album will be his seventh released posthumously, joining "Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" (as Makaveli), "R U Still Down? (Remember Me)", "Still I Rise", "Until the End of Time", "Better Dayz" and "Tupac: Resurrection".
Meanwhile, reports suggest Eminem may have parted company with his side-project D12 after he failed to appear at a string of shows in the US.
During a performance of "My Band" at the Tempe, Arizona Marquee Theater on Sunday [July 4], the five other members of D12 were heard to repeatedly chant "F*ck Marshall".
At Los Angeles' House Of Blues the previous night Swift declared that Bizarre was the new lead singer as they skipped over Eminem's verses in songs.
